12.2. Address configuration for bus mode

For an operation in bus mode, the reader provides the possibility to allocate the necessary bus
address optionally via the DIP-switch S2 or via software.
a) Setting of the bus address via S2 :
By means of S2, the adresses "0" to "7" can be allocated to the reader.
For the setting of the bus address via S2, the reader has to be set to the software address "0"
(factory-set).

The allocation of addresses is executed via the Host-computer. By means of the software, the ad-
dresses "0" to "254" can be allocated to the reader.
NOTE:
As all readers have been set to the address 0 by the manufacturer, they have to be
connected and configured on after the other.
