MAINTENANCE (Fig. 4 and 5)
Maintenance of the VM unit should normally be performed at least 1 - 2 times a year. Apart
from general cleaning the following should be observed:

1. Replacing extract and inlet filter (normally 1 - 2 times a year).
The filters cannot be cleaned and must be changed as necessary.
Contact your supplier for new filter.
When set time between filter changes has expired, a yellow lamp (5) fig.2 will start flashing
and "Filter" will be displayed. The ventilation system can still be used, but the efficiency will
gradually be reduced. To change filters, open the inspection door and pull out the filters (fig.
4). Insert new filters and close the door.
Resetting the filter life time counter
When new filters have been mounted, the counter for setting of operation period between
filter changes has to be reset. Do as follows:
Switch off the buzzer by press the norm button and hold for a couple of seconds.
a) For resetting of the filter alarm, press MAX button and hold for 3 seconds. When reset the
text "RESET to X mon" will be displayed. (X is the number of month until next filter alarm)
