NOTE
The usual reception area is within a radius of 1500 km of the transmitter. The
reception can be disturbed by external influences (e.g. reinforced concrete
buildings, switched on TV sets, PC, etc.). In case of malfunctions (even if the
battery is correct), remove the battery for approx. 30 seconds and restart
the alarm clock. If there is still no reception, please change location.
CAUTION - MATERIAL DAMAGE
- Never expose the alarm clock to severe temperature fluctuations,
moisture, direct sunlight, dust or impact.
- Protect the batteries from excessive heat. Remove the battery from
the alarm clock when it is in a horizontal position.
This will prevent damage caused by leakage.
- Do not use abrasive or solvent-based cleaning products to clean
the alarm clock.
DISPOSAL
The alarm clock, its packaging and the inserted battery have been manu-
factured from valuable materials that can be recycled. Recycling reduces
the amount of refuse and helps to preserve the enviroment. Dispose of the
packaging at the recycling point that sorts materials by type. Make use of
the local facilities provided for collecting paper, cardboard and lightweight
packaging.
Devices marked with this symbol must not be disposed of along
with normal household refuse! You are legally bound to dispose of
old appliances separately from household refuse. Information
about where old devices can be disposed of free of charge is available from
your local authorities.
Regular batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed
of along with household refuse! You are legally bound to dispose
of flat batteries or rechargeable batteries at a local authority col-
lection point or to return them to a battery retailer.
