4.1 Installation

Isotherm refrigerators have been designed and constructed exclusively for recessed
installation and installation that is in compliance with standard dimensions. The
refrigerator must always be in a horizontal position, with the compressor's rubber
feet at the bottom. The compressor is capable of functioning at angles of up to 30°.
The compressor can become damaged with any higher inclinations. Also remote
operation compressors must be installed with its rubber feet downward.
The product should be secured to the lodgings using the Easy Fix fastening system,
which are special pre-drilled fastening points inside the trunk for easy, effective
installation that is not visible from the outside (Fig. 3).
Drill the fastening point with a drill or sharp tool (Fig 4 A, only requires light pressure
as it is a pre-drilled area). Screw in and fasten the trunk from inside with M4x16
screws (Fig. 4 B) and take care to re-insert the cover complete with insulation foam
to ensure continued correct product insulation (Fig. 4 C+D).
Where Easy Fix fastening cannot be used, you can however install the refrigerator by
fastening it using mounting flanges (optional) on 3 or 4 sides (Fig. 5).
Always secure the refrigerator in such a way so that it will not tip/slide forward when
the drawer is opened or in the case of sudden vehicle movement. The unit should be
anchored by at least 2 fastening points, in accordance with the provisions of the EN
60335-2-24 standard.
