Installation system
■ Open the equipment packing, and check whether all materials listed in "Standard Accessories"
have been received.
■ Meanwhile, check whether all other accessories ordered together with the equipment have been
received.
In order to confirm whether the power supply is ready,
take the following step:
In order to power on the equipment, take the following steps:
1. Complete all connections.
2. Connect the power cord attached to this equipment to the power connector on the rear panel,
and insert the power cord plug into the correctly grounded power socket.
3. Push the power button on the front panel. In order to power off the equipment, push the power
button on the front panel.
Warning:
In order to satisfy the safety requirements, the used load wire shall be able to bear the maximum
short-circuit output current of power supply at all time without overheating. In case of several loads,
every pair of load wires must be capable of safely bearing the full-load rated current of power
supply.
How to solve the power-on failure
In order to solve the possible problems when the equipment is powered on, take the following
steps:
1. Verify whether the AC input terminal of power supply has AC.
Firstly, check whether the AC power cord is firmly inserted into the power connector on the rear
panel of power supply. Also check whether the AC power cord connected with the power supply
equipment is energized. And then, check whether the power switch is switched on.
2. Verify the voltage setting of power cord.
Check whether the nominal input voltage on the rear label of equipment is suitable to the value
description (AC 110V or 220V) at your country/ region: Under some cases, the power supply to the
equipment through the wrongly set commercial power voltage may result in the disconnection of
fuse.
3. Confirm that the correct fuse for power cord is installed. If the fuse is damaged, replace of power
fuse.
Check output
The following steps can be used to check whether the power supply generates rated output and
whether it can correctly respond to the operation from the front panel.
Check voltage output: In order to check the base voltage function under no-load condition, take the
following steps.
1. Dismantle all leads on the output connector;
2. Power on;
3. Switch clockwise the current regulation knob of power supply to the maximum value;
4. Constant-voltage output state of power supply, C.V lamp on. Check whether the voltage
regulation knob is switched from OV to maximum value within the rated scope.
Check current output: In order to check the base voltage function under short
circuit between power outputs, take the following steps.
1. Dismantle all wires on the output connector;
2. Power on;
3. Set the output voltage as about 5-6V;
4. Use the insulation testing lead to connect a section of short-circuit circuit between (+) and (-)
output terminals (the wire with the dimensions capable of bearing the maximum current shall be
used). Whether the current regulation knob can be switched from OA to the maximum value within
the rated scope.
5. Power off, and dismantle the short-circuit wire between (+) and (-) output terminals

short-circuit output current of power supply at all time without overheating. In case of several loads,
