The
whole tuning range can be scanned manually in
25
kHz steps.
This
is
especially desirable
when searching for stations whose frequency
is
not
known
precisely (or
when a station previously found by auto tuning
has
to
be
tuned
in
accurately within the
25
kHz
channel pattern, for example
89J25
MHz).
Example:
A
station transmitting
just below 90 MHz
is
to
be
tuned in
exactly:
Display
flashes, because no station
is
being received.
