OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE TUNER SECTION
NOTE.
The controls
which have
to
be
operated are shown by
the
illustrattons on the
left-hand side.
The operating statuses
as indicated by the displays, after having selected
a
certain operating mode, are shown by
the illustrations
on
the right-hand
side.
The frequencies
shown in these instructions (FREOUENCY
'
MHz)
are
not
necessarily usable station frequencies. Ask
your dealer for
a list
of stations and
their
frequencies
in
your region.
Press
the button
TUNER.
The
INPUT
display
will show
<1>
This means that
the
tuner's output
is
now connected to
the amplifier.
The automatic
tuning sequence scans the complete tuning range from
87.5
through to 107.95 MHz
in
100
kHz
steps. Exact tuning to any station
of
sufficient
signal strength
will then occur with
a
50
kHz
resolution (e.9.
89.B5O MHz).
ATTENTION:
lmmediately after switching on the
receiver,
the display TUNING MODE will
show any number
from
1
to
9.
lf
an
<F>
(f
requency entry)
is
displayed
due to one of
the manipulations
described
later, press the button
CHANGE
TUNING MODE
to
return to the auto tuning
sequence.
EXAMPLE
FOR
THE
PRECISE
TUNING TO A

Auto tuning commences at
the
