Optics
Optics Light Pipes use fibre optic technology to
replicate the unique regenerating glow of the Siren R3
LED in your Optics bobbin head.
Light Pipes screw into the direct connection thread
in the front of the R3's body, a standard Optics Head
or Optics Mega Head screwed on to the end with the
soft diffuser.
Fitting Optics Light Pipes to Siren R3s:
1. Remove the Light Pipe from the blister pack. Do NOT
remove or discard the soft moulded diffuser at one end.
2. Remove the rubber grommet from the direct Optics
connection socket at the front of the R3 alarm.
3. Push the end of the Light Pipe WITHOUT the soft
moulded diffuser into the R3's Optics connection
socket, and carefully screw into the thread. The end of
the light pipe must be touching the LED inside the R3.
4. Your Optics Head or Mega Head can now be
screwed on to the end of the Light Pipe that has the
soft moulded diffuser.
Fitting Drag Weights to Optics Light Pipes:
1. Temporarily remove the moulded diffuser from the
end of the Light Pipe.
2. Loosen the two sections of threaded collar at
the same end of the Light Pipe by unscrewing two
complete turns.
3. Push the collar down the Light Pipe by 7mm to make
room for the drag weight and retighten to lock it into
position.
4. To add several drag weights slide the collars further
along the Light Pipe to create the additional space

required. To fit two Drag Weights slide the collar 14mm,
for three drag weights 21mm.
5. Slide the drag weight on and screw into the threaded
collar.
6. Replace the moulded diffuser at the end of the Light
Pipe. Your Optics Head or Mega Head can now be slid
on and screwed to the Drag Weight.

R3 Bissanzeiger
Einlegen der Batterie: Öffnen Sie das Batteriefach mit
einem Kreuzschraubenzieher und legen eine Batterie
des Typs CR2 3V ein (nicht im Lieferumfang).
R3 Bissanzeiger ein-/ausschalten:
Power-Knopf für 2 Sekunden. Beim Einschalten ertönt
eine ansteigende Tonfolge und die LEDs leuchten auf.
Beim Ausschalten hören Sie eine absteigende Tonfolge
und keine LEDs leuchten.
Lautlosfunktion: Durch einen kurzen Druck auf den
Power-Knopf. Beim Abschalten des Tones piepst das
Gerät einmal. Wird der Ton wieder eingeschalten, blinkt
die linke LED und der R3 piepst einmal.
Lautstärke: Durch einen kurzen Druck auf den X-Knopf.
Es sind vier Lautstärken wählbar. Durch jeden weiteren
Druck auf den X-Knopf verstellt sich die Laustärke
um eine Stufe. Der Ton, den Sie hören, entspricht der
jeweiligen Lautstärke.
Sensibilität: Die werkseitig eingestellte Sensibilität ist die
höchste Stufe. Im R3 verwenden wir eine intelligente
Microchip-Technologie, die Fehlalarme durch Wind,
Kraut, Strömung weitgehend eliminiert.
Drücken Sie den X-Knopf für 2 Sekunden und
Sie hören 2 Pieper – dann ist die Sensibilität auf
Stufe 2. Nochmals für 2 Sekunden gedrückt halten
