Using the RingFlash 250
4� Insert the batteries (CR2 and 23A) in the
holders provided. Pay attention that the
batteries are inserted the right way around
(correct polarity).
5� Mount the cover of the doorbell pick-up
(RFD01) back on the housing (2).
6� Screw the housing screw (5) back in
the housing (2) of the doorbell pick-up
(RFD01).
7� Place the doorbell pick-up (RFD01) in
the holder. Pay attention that the door-
bell pick-up (RFD01) is fitted the right
way around in the holder. The latches
for the holder (3) on the doorbell pick-up
(RFD01) help you to find the correct ins-
tallation position�

8. Use the tapes to attach the holder of the
doorbell pickup (RFD01) on the doorbell.
Position the holder so that the large ope-
ning in the holder is over the doorbell's
sound generator�
9� Press your doorbell.

10� If the Status LED (1) on the doorbell pick-
up lights up, the pick-up transmits a signal
to the base station�
If the pick-up does not detect the acoustic
signals, first reduce the distance between
the doorbell pick-up and RingFlash 250
base station�
If the pick-up does not detect the acoustic
signal, it is possible that the volume of the
doorbell is too low. If possible, set it to a
louder volume or use the external micro-
phone supplied. It may only be installed
by properly skilled persons.
