Safety Notes - Bioelan HC-100 Bedienungsanleitung

Please note the following safety notes to avoid malfunctions,
damage or physical injury:
Never place the device close to one's nose or mouth when the device is
turned on.
The high concentration of ozone is irritating and may even pose a health
hazard. When the device is used to deodorise a closed space or in a closed
space, leave and stay away for at least 30 minutes. Upon returning,
immediately open doors and windows to allow residual ozone to diffuse.
Do not immerse the device in liquids of any kind and do not allow liquids to
enter the housing.
Do not use the unit in the presence of flammable material or explosives, in
flammable atmospheres, or close to flammable liquids.
Due to the oxidising properties of ozone some metal surfaces may corrode if
treated with the device. Do not use the device on electric appliances or naked
metal/metallic surfaces.
Take the batteries out of the battery compartment, if you don't use the
headset for some time.
Do not attempt to recharge batteries, do not disassemble, and burn or short-
circuit them.
The device does not contain parts serviceable by you. Do not disassemble it
and do not try to repair it yourself. In the case of questions or problems please
turn to the Westfalia customer support department.
