Inserting/changing batteries

For use, you need a CR2032, 3V battery.
1. Remove the battery compartment cover and
then remove the old battery.
2. Slide the new battery against the contact
spring under the square retaining tabs and
press them down.
Observe the correct polarity (+/-). The plus
pole (+) must point upwards.
3. Replace the battery compartment cover.
Notes on changing the battery:
‚ Be sure to change the battery if the display
shows nothing after pressing start/stop.
‚ Only use the battery type specified in the
"Technical Data".
‚ Dispose of old batteries in an
environmentally friendly manner, see
"Disposal".
