Initial Operation
The air impact wrench is fitted with an R 3/8" compressed air connection (4). For
your own safety, do not mount firmly impact wrench and compressed-air hose,
but use a quick connector (6).
1. Screw the included quick connector into the compressed-air
connection (4) and seal it up with Teflon tape.
2. Then put the socket on the anvil shank
(1) (not included in delivery).
3. Turning the flow regulator (5), you can
regulate the air intake without steps. In
this way, you regulate the torque, which abuts on the socket.
4. Please connect the unit and the compressed-air source by using a flexible air
hose.
Air Pressure and Air Quantity
The impact wrench needs a pressure of 90 psi (6.3 bars) and a compressor with
an air volume of min. 275 l/min. Utilize only connection hoses with a minimum
inner diameter of 9 mm. Setting the air pressure, please remind that the pressure
sinks about ca. 0.6 bar at a hose length of 10 m and an inner diameter of 9 mm.
Adjusting Revolution Speed / Turning Movement Direction
The unit is designed to clockwise and counter-
clockwise rotation. The reverse valve lever is located on
the reverse side of the unit. Using the valve lever (3),
you can choose between three revolution speeds and
the direction of movement.
1. Turning the lever on the small circle (A), the unit
revolves with a low speed in clockwise rotation.
2. If you turn the lever to the next larger circle (B), you
increase the revolution speed.
