Good practices for your Battery Pack
Note! Storing the Battery Pack (1) discharged for a long period
can severely damage your Battery Pack or strongly reduce its
capacity.
The life of your Battery Pack (1) can be prolonged if it is properly
•
maintained. Pay attention to the operation and storing temperatures.
Do not leave the Battery Pack (1) permanently connected to the
•
Charger.
Charge your Battery Pack (1) to a 60% state-of-charge before leaving
•
it unused for a long time. Check the Battery Pack (1) again after 6
months and, if state-of-charge is 20% or less, charge it again until 60%.
• Storage time on 60% state-of-charge:
• 1 month : -20~60°C
• 3 months : -20~45°C
• 1 year : -20~25°C
Store the Battery Pack (1) at a dry, well-ventilated location. A
•
temperature between +5°C and +20°C is optimum.
If weather conditions are not favorable, remove Drivepack (7) and
•
Battery Pack (1) from the eBike and keep enclosed until next use.
It is not recommended to store the Battery Pack (1) in the eBike.
