10. Adjusting the vertical working
position
Warning!
The vertical adjusting function can only be
used together with the telescopic handle!
When the telescopic handle is not mounted,
do not use this function.
Make sure the position of the blade bar is at
0° when not using the telescopic handle!
Press the release button PUSH (9) to

adjust the desired angle setting of the
motor housing. Hold the release button
pressed and move the motor housing
by turning the handle (6) up or
downwards.
Release the release button PUSH (9) in
10.2
order to fix the desired angle setting.
The motor housing is vertically pivota-
ble up to 8 positions, from 0° up to +60°
resp. up to -80°.
11. Adjusting the horizontal working
position
The motor housing is also rotatable up
11.1
to 3 positions. It can be turned from 0°
up to -90° resp. up to +90°.
In order to horizontally turn the motor

housing, first pull back the release but-
ton (4) and then turn the motor housing
to the left or to the right until the hous-
ing locks audibly.

Attention!
Please note that operating the hedge trim-
mer without locked motor housing is not
possible!
3 Possible working positions

12. Using the telescopic handle

Mount the telescopic handle (14) as
described below.
For unlocking and removing the handle
from the motor unit, depress the release
buttons PUSH on the handle (8) and pull out
the handle. To unlock and remove the tele-
scopic handle from the motor unit, depress
the release buttons (12) and pull out the
telescopic handle.
For adjusting the length of the telescopic
handle, unscrew the locking nut counter
clockwise and pull out the pole up to the
