Cleaning

You can clean the bicycle with lukewarm water and a
soft brush. In this way your bicycle will look as new.
Cleaning the bike on a regular basis will prolong the
lifetime. Please not that an abundant amount of water
should not be used near the electronics and the battery.
Take care that there will be no dirt in between the
motion sensor and the rotating part. When cleaning
the bicycle it is best to remove the battery. Never use
a high-pressure water hose! Many parts of the electric
bicycle need oil, grease or acid-free vaseline. When
washed away, you should bring it back on after the
cleaning.

Treatment

Besides regular cleaning, it is recommended to treat
your bicycle properly after cleaning it. We advise you
to grease the chromes parts, uncoated aluminum and
all stainless steel components with acid-free vaseline
to prevend oxidation and rust. Rotation parts need
grease or oil. It is recommended to grease the chain,
chainwheels and axes on a regular basis. Your dealer
can do this for you.
