1. IntroduCtIon
To buy our rainwater filter we would like to congratulate you warmly. When selecting the materials and the proces-
sing, we made sure that a long functional life is guaranteed. Furthermore, we only use environmentally friendly raw
materials and production methods.
If, despite our strict quality controls during the warranty period basic
have justified complaint, we ask you to present the filter together with proof of purchase to the point of sale. You will
receive a replacement or the deficiencies are remedied.
With the use of rainwater, you will help to preserve our environment for us all.
2. In general
The increasing pollution of our environment has an impact on the quality of the rainwater. In accordance with the
purpose of this needs to be treated. Our rainwater filters have especially with the CS1 / MFS1-fine filtration on a
mesh size of 0.2mm-1.0mm.
By fine filtration not only dirt deposits in the tank can be substantially reduced, but also avoids clogging problems of
the pumps, the valves or the watering.
The filter has to ca.7l / s Rainwater coverage of over 90%. This much water is discharged into the memory even with
a short productive Showers, unlike other systems.
The sediment in the rainwater storage tank (ton, tank, cistern) can be substantially reduced.
The chemical contamination of rainwater are minimized, since the substances that the coarse
stick and fine particles from entering the reservoir.
The first 2-5 liters of rainwater, which are enriched in general very strongly with dirt, directed for the most part into the
sewer. Only after the successful wetting the filter surface of the filter leads the purified water to the reservoir.
3. InStallatIon
3.1. Choose installation location (in cistern dome (Fig.1)
Or in the ground in front of the cistern (Fig.2).
3.2. The cistern connection is with KG 100 or
KG 125 pipes performed.
For connection means 100 KG-pipes, the accompanying
Insert the rubber cuffs in the filter neck.
The KG 100-tube is then inserted into the socket.
For connection means 125 KG-pipes on the input side
a double sleeve is required (not included).
3.3. Select Depth. These must be such that:
l A slight continuous gradient from the downspout to
Cistern is given
l To protect against freezing pipes in a appropriate
depth of 50-100 cm embarrassed. If necessary,
Separating the caps
3.4. Filter align vertically.
3.5. Making connections.
3.6. If necessary, the filter body to compensate at the
Ground level by means of a DN 400 KG pipe extend
upwards. The filter cap fits the DN 400 - KG pipe sleeve.
The sieve-extraction pipe.
Use a commercial HT 50-tube (almost) arbitrarily be
extended. The connection, please also secure with
bolt screw.
3.7. The filter with fine gravel or sand carefully external
filling (Einschlämmen, not shaking in).
3.8. Insert the filter element and close the lid.
3.9. If the filter is in the passable area to be installed, the housing must be filled with sand instead of with lean con-
crete ent speaking Oualität.
The plastic cover must not be driven directly. The filter shaft must in this case with an additional cover (ggf.im frame)
corresponding Befahrbarkeitsklasse be protected.
3.10. If the filter E 500 used in roof surfaces> 500 sqm, it is essential to ensure unimpeded water drainage to channel
/ infiltration. For this purpose, a T-piece is inserted in front of the inlet filter, which, having input side and going to the
side the necessary sections. So the usual incidental rain is reliably collected, and the peak load, which brings the tank
to overflow discharged.
4. MaIntenanCe & SerVICe
The filters are delivered as standard with a mesh size of 0.2 mm. We recommend to control the pollution of the screen
surface at regular intervals.
For maintenance please remove the lid and remove the filter element. The screen can now be cleaned with a strong
jet of water with the aid of a brush with plastic bristles. The sieve can be ordered as a separate spare part through
retailers.
