Test conditions according to DIN EN 60529:
In accordance with DIN EN 60529, the protection class designation IP (International Protection) is
followed by 2 code numbers. The 1st code number stands for the extent of protection of an enclo-
sure against foreign bodies and contact. The 2nd code number, on the other hand, describes the
scope of protection against ingress of water.
This device - designation - falls under protection class IP65.
1st code number of the IP code: Devices with protection class IP65 are dustproof and completely
protected against contact.
2nd code number of the IP code: In addition, the devices are protected against water jets from
any angle, so that these devices can also be used outdoors.
However, event technology devices are generally only suitable for temporary use.
Continuous outdoor operation is not recommended!
The IP65 degree of protection specified makes no statement regarding the resistance of the devices
to changing ambient temperatures or the effect of sunlight and UV rays.
The seals and screw connections of the devices must be checked regularly to ensure trouble-free
operation.
In case of doubt, it is recommended to consult a specialist workshop in good time.
Commissioning.
All connections of the device should be made before switching on. Only use high-quality cables that
are as short as possible for the connections.
Configuration of the DMX connector:
DMX operating mode:
Connect the DMX input of your device to the DMX output of your DMX controller, your DMX
software or the DMX output of a device already in your DMX chain. Always use a DMX cable with
a 110 Ohm resistor for this connection. Address the device according to your DMX configurati-
on. The device has a DMX mode with 6 channels, which are based on the following functions:
