● Supervise children. This will ensure that children do
not play with the charger.
● Children or persons that owing to their physical, sen-
sory or mental limitations or to their lack of experience
or knowledge, are not capable of securely operating
the charger, may only use this charger under supervi-
sion or after having been instructed by a responsible
person. Otherwise, there is danger of operating errors
and injuries.
Products sold in GB only: Your product is fi tted with
a BS 1363/A approved electric plug with internal fuse
(ASTA approved to BS 1362).
If the plug is not suitable for your socket outlets, it
should be cut off and an appropriate plug fi tted in its
place by an authorised customer service agent. The
replacement plug should have the same fuse rating as
the original plug.
The severed plug must be disposed of to avoid a pos-
sible shock hazard and should never be inserted into a
mains socket elsewhere.

INTENDED USE

The garden product is intended for light trimming of
shrubs and lawn edges in domestic use.

BATTERY CHARGING

● Do not use other battery chargers. The supplied bat-
tery charger is designed for the Lithium- Ion battery in
your garden product.
MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
● Warning! Switch off before adjusting or cleaning. The
blades continue to move for a few seconds after the
garden product is switched off.
Caution! Do not touch the moving blades.
● For safe and proper working, always keep the gar-
den product clean.
● Always wear protective gloves when using, adjusting
or cleaning the garden product. Note: To ensure long
and reliable service, carry out the following mainte-
nance regularly.
Regularly check for obvious defects such as loose fi -
xings, and worn or damaged components.
Check if guards and protective devices are undama-
ged and properly mounted. Before using, carry out
possibly necessary maintenance and repairs.
If the garden product should happen to fail despite the
care taken in manufacture and testing, repair should
be carried out by an authorised customer service agent
for SBM-Group garden products.
AFTER USE/STORAGE
● Warning! Switch off before adjusting or cleaning. The
blades continue to move for a few seconds after the
garden product is switched off.
Caution! Do not touch the moving blades.
● Always wear protective gloves when using, adjusting
or cleaning the garden product. Clean the exterior of
the garden product thoroughly using a soft brush and
cloth. Do not use water, solvents or polishes. Remove
all debris. Ensure that the cutting blade is covered with
the blade guard supplied when not in use.
Store the machine in a secure, dry place out of the
reach of children. Do not place other objects on top of
the machine.
