IMPORTANT SAFEGUARD
1 The unit is intended for indoor use only.
2 Do not drop the machine or put any object on top of it to avoid damage to the housing . Unplug the
machine when this happens, and consult your technical service point.
3 The machine must be connected to a power supply corresponding to the electrical rating of the ma-
chine as indicated.
4 If the machine smells burning, unplug the machine immediately and contact the service representative.
5 The machine and the power cord should be away from water to avoid electrical shock.
6 Place the unit on a secure, stable area to prevent that the machine falls which could result in per-
sonal injury and/or damage to the unit.
7 If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by your Service Agent in order to avoid a hazard.
Installation: (consult figure 1, pg 1)
1 Place the metal stand on a stable platform (near power outlet), then place the machine on the
metal stand. Make sure the machine is firmly seated on the stand.
2 Open the paper feed cover. Insert the upper paper feed plate.
3 Attaching the folding plate.
I For letter fold, Z fold, Double fold: (fig. 2)
Insert both folding plates along the guideline until both are inserted till they reached the end
of the entry slot. Ensure that the plates lean on the designated support pins.

II For Single Fold. (fig 3)
Remove the rear folding plate, insert it again along the guideline in the reverse direction with the
blocked side leading.
Make sure that it is firmly seated on the support pins at the cutout.
