of bodily, health or property damage when the the device is used despite it not being fully
functional.
- Do not use tools which have a faulty on/off switch. Tools which can no longer be switched on
or off are dangerous and have to be repaired.
- All service and repairs have to be carried out by a specialist. Only use the original replacement
parts to ensure long-term operational safety.
- Do not remove safeguards and/or parts of the housing.
- Never use the tool if a protective cover is missing or if not all safeguards are in place or in
impeccable order.
- Changes to FÖRCH tool are not allowed for safety reasons. Any changes made to the tool
immediately lead to a loss of warranty.
- Wear work gloves and goggles.
Tools with pneumatic drives can raise dust, chippings and other grit at a high speed which may
cause severe injuries to the eyes. Compressed air is dangerous. The air stream can damage
sensitive body parts such as eyes, ears etc. Objects and dust raised by the air stream can
cause injuries.
- Wear ear protection.
Long term exposure to the operating noise of the compressed air tool may lead to permanent
hearing loss.

Some materials such as adhesives or tar include chemicals which emit vapours that can lead to
severe damage when inhaled over long-term periods.
- Wear tight-fitting safety working clothes.
Tools which have parts that turn may catch hair, clothes, jewellery or other loose objects which
can lead to severe injuries. Never wear clothes that are to loose and/or have ribbons or straps

identification badges, bracelets, necklaces etc which may get caught in the tool. Never touch
moving tool parts. Long hair has to be tied back or covered.

Tools which are left unattended or are connected to compressed air may be used by
unauthorised persons and cause them or others severe injuries.
- Only use impeccable wrench inserts.
Cheap, inappropriate or damaged shell tools such as wrench inserts can be released during
operation and be thrown around the work area which may cause the most severe injuries. Only
use shell tools which are suitable for the speed of the tool. Do not use shell tools which were
dropped, knocked or damaged during operation.
- Mind reaction torque.
Please mind the reaction torque and potential breaking of the tool. Reaction torques may cause
injuries in narrow parts. Counter measures have to be put in place to prevent unexpected
reaction torques.
- Do not use tool in explosive environments.
Tools such as ratchet wrenches can cause flying sparks which can cause flammable materials
to ignite. Never operate tools near flammable substances such as petrol, naphtha or cleaning
agents. Only work in clean, well-ventilated workspaces which do not contain flammable
materials. Never use oxygen, carbon dioxide or other gases which are filled into bottles to
operate compressed air tools.
