2.2 Configuration

The WIFI MODULE comes with the Access Point function enabled. When switched on the first time, the green LED
(Power) lights up steady and the Access Point orange LED blinks for a few seconds, then stays on steady.
If, after a few seconds, the Access Point orange LED keeps blinking, it means that the WIFI MODULE is located in a
place not covered by the WiFi network. In this case, try moving the module to another place covered by WiFi
network.
Access Point orange LED "on steady" indicates that the module has created the WiFi network called 'Ferroli-
Wifi_[MACAddress]'. The MACAddress is a unique sequence of numbers for the WiFi module, given on the label on
the back.
The module is now ready for its configuration via computer or device suitable for Internet navigation. From this
device equipped with wireless connection, access the list of available WiFi networks and connect to the network
created by the WIFI MODULE called 'Ferroli-Wifi_[MACAddress]'. Connection occurs without having to enter any
username or password.
To access the list of wireless networks, consult the guide of the Internet navigation device being used
At this point you are connected to the network created by the WIFI MODULE.
Open the Internet browser and enter the following address in the address bar: http://192.168.1.1
to open the main page of the Webserver contained in WIFI MODULE. The browser displays the following page:
Ferroli-Wifi_[MACAddress]
Click the button 'Wi-Fi Client Mode' to enter the data of the domestic WiFi network to connect to the Internet.

Select one of the WiFi networks detected by the module by clicking on the dot next to the network name or by
manually typing the name of the WiFi network in the 'SSID' text field. Set the security key for the WiFi network in the
'Security Key' text field.
Press the 'Connect' button to save the data entered and complete the configuration.
The Web page displays the following message to alert that the WiFi network 'Ferroli-Wifi_ [MACAddress]' will be
closed.
If the data entered is correct, the module will restart, connecting to the Internet after a few seconds and connecting
to the external service that allows sharing the connection to the stove. The Remote Server orange LED and the
Internet LED will be lit up. Otherwise, re-run the configuration.
