Caution: This battery pack may ignite, create a chemical burn
hazard, explode, or release toxic materials if mistreated. Do
not incinerate, disassemble, or heat above 100 °C (212 °F). Do
not short circuit; may cause burns. Keep away from children.
Use only Intermec charger Models AC20 and AD20. Use of
incorrect charger may present a risk of fire or explosion.
CONTAINS LITHIUM-ION BATTERY. WASTE BATTERY
MUST PROMPTLY BE RECYCLED OR DISPOSED OF
PROPERLY. SEE INSTRUCTIONS.
Proper Disposal of Waste Batteries
Some of the substances necessary for the proper functioning of
batteries are considered harmful to the environment and to
human health. It is therefore important that those substances be
kept out of the environment.
You play an important role in the protection of the environment:
1 Keep all waste batteries out of unsorted trash.
2 Dispose of all waste batteries in separate collection for

Do not short circuit the battery, and keep it away from metallic
items.
Do not disassemble, open, crush, bend, deform, shred, or burn.
Do not immerse the battery in water or get the battery wet.
Do not solder directly to the battery contacts.
Do not apply mechanical shocks or pressure to the battery.
Do not drop the battery or the CK3. If you suspect that the
battery or CK3 is damaged, send it to an Intermec service
center for inspection.
Do not store the battery at temperatures above 60 °C (140 °F),
such as inside a car on a hot day or in direct sunlight, as this
may damage the battery.
Discarded batteries may create a safety hazard. Before disposal,
cover the battery connector with electrical insulating tape.
The battery pack temperature range for charging is 0 °C to
45 °C (32 °F to 113 °F). For maximum battery life, Intermec
recommends charging batteries at 25 °C.
