Please use the mounting
brackets from Switch
Installation Kit 2:
Attach the brackets on both sides of the

switch housing using the countersunk
screws supplied with the switch (see
circles).

The corresponding screw holes
depend on the switch type:
Type 1: Brocade ICX 6610-24
Brocade ICX 6610-48
Brocade VDX6720
Type 2: Brocade ICX6430-48
Brocade ICX6450-48
Type 3: Brocade 6430-24
Brocade 6450-24
Torque: 1.5 Nm
Insert the switch into the rack above the

shelf plate from the back.
Fix the switch in place using two screws
►
with special washers (see c in figure
above) on each side (see arrows).
Torque: 2.5 Nm
Feed the power cables through the
►
two holes in the shelf plate (see circ-
les).

Be careful not to damage the
power cables.

Verwenden Sie die Montage-
winkel aus dem Switch-
Installations-Kit 2:
Schrauben Sie die Montagewinkel mit
►
den zum jeweiligen Switch mitgelie-
ferten Senkkopfschrauben an beide
Seiten des Switch-Gehäuses (siehe
Kreise).

Die jeweils passenden
Schraublöcher sind abhängig
vom Switch-Typ:
Typ 1: Brocade ICX 6610-24
Brocade ICX 6610-48
Brocade VDX6720
Typ 2: Brocade ICX6430-48
Brocade ICX6450-48
Typ 3: Brocade 6430-24
Brocade 6450-24
Drehmoment: 1,5 Nm
Schieben Sie den Switch an der Rück-

seite des Racks über dem Shelf-Boden
in das Rack ein .
Schrauben Sie den Switch mit zwei
►
Schrauben mit Spezial-Unterlegschei-
ben (siehe c in Abb. oben und Pfeile).
Drehmoment: 2,5 Nm
Führen Sie die Netzkabel durch die bei-
►
den Aussparungen des Shelf-Bodens
(siehe Kreise).

Achten Sie darauf, dass die
Netzkabel nicht beschädigt
werden.
