Operating Instructions RV 2.23 (22 kW, 30 kW)
Transport
The device should be transported upright on its stand
if moved within the plant. Care must be taken to
ensure that the device is firmly fixed. Strong impacts
and vibrations are to be avoided so as to protect the
precision bearings. The device may only be lifted by
the eye bolt if transported by a crane.
Installation
Please pay attention to the accident prevention
regulations "Compressors" VBG16, in particular
Section III C "Installation" and IV "Operation" as well
as VBG4 "Electrical equipment and resources".
The blowers are designed to operate with a horizontal
motor shaft. Blowers for the operation with a vertical
motor shaft are delivered on demand. In order to
prevent the blower from transmitting vibrations to the
laser it should be fastened with suitable rubber-metal
connection elements.

It must be ensured that no vacuums or weights are
transferrred to the blower from the coolers and pipes
via air intakes and pressure points. You should thus

use bellow expansion joints for the connections.
The torque for the fastening screws is indicated on the
union flanges and should not be exceeded.
The cap pieces of the bearings should be easily
accessible for service work. The axial clearance
should be approx. 0.4 m.
Connection
The location of the connections can be seen in Fig. 1.
Cooling water
The pressure of the cooling water may not exceed 1 MPa
(10 bar).The flow temperature of the cooling water may
not exceed 20 °C. Water cooling is provided for the
following components:
