Operation

Hints before use

Check if the voltage rating on the label corresponds to the mains voltage in your
home.
Before the first use, or after longer periods of disuse, carefully remove all packing
materials and carefully clean the iron surface. Fill distilled water into the water
tank up to the MAX mark with the included cup. Do not use chemically decalcified
water. Do not overfill.
Plug in the iron and set the temperature control dial (F) to the maximum
temperature. The indicator light (E) will light up. Set the iron on its heel and wait
until the light turns off, then the Iron has reached maximum temperature. Point the
sole in a safe direction and push the steam burst button (C) several times
alternating to blow any debris out of the steam vents. Set the adjustable steam
lever (A) to maximum and iron an old cotton cloth. After this all debris should be
out of the steam system. A burnt smell in the first moments of operation is not
dangerous and will disappear in a matter of moments.

Filling

We recommend the use of distilled water to keep calc deposition in the steam
system to a minimum. Make sure the iron is unplugged before filling. Also make
sure the temperature control dial (F) and the adjustable steam button (A) are in
the MIN position. Hold the iron upright, tilted slightly forward, flip open the water
inlet (I) and use the cup included with the unit to fill the water tank up to the MAX
mark. Do not overfill.
