1. The SLU1P protective earth monitoring unit in combination with
the RCD and the contactor represent a SPE-PRCD (LNSE type)
based on E DIN IEC 62335 to the requirements of BGI608. The
employers' liability insurance association recommends such SPE-
PRCD as effective protective measures for small components and
mobile electronic devices.
2. This combination requires regular inspections as per BGV A3;
due to the PE monitoring and isolation, the isolation resistance
measurement is replaced by a protective earth current measure-
ment as per VDE 0702-1, section 4.3.4.
