introduction

Your new boiler is intended for domestic
purposes.
The UKB150 is connected to a cold water
pipeline.
The UKC150 is a boiler for direct connection to
another hot water appliance or for locations
with a limited power capacity, such as camping
sites.

general information

Your boiler has an insulated inner kettle made of
copper. The boiler can therefore be connected
to operate under atmospheric conditions or
under pressure (see the installation
instructions).
The inner kettle is always filled with water
which is heated by an electrical element. Turn
the water off during heating. The expansion
water must be drained to prevent the kettle from
buckling due to this expansion.
In an atmospheric (pressure-free) boiler, the
expansion water leaves the boiler through the
tap outlet. Water will then always drip from the
tap during heating. Never try to prevent this. If
there is a pressure connection, the expansion
water will leave the boiler via the inlet
combination. This is is to be found inside the
kitchen cabinet beside the boiler. Make an
occasional check inside the cabinet during
heating to see if expansion water is being
drained. Have the inlet combination seen to if
this is not the case.

- Any type of WP tap may be used.
- The boiler may be connected to one or more
WP taps.
- Release valve/inlet combination required.
- The expansion water is drained via the
release valve or the inlet combination.

If the water pressure is higher than 6 bar, a
reducing valve must first be fitted in the supply
pipe.

The boiler will be under maximum water
a
pressure if it has a WP connection.
An inlet combination is needed because the
boiler does not have an open connection to the
tap outlet. The expansion water which is
formed during heating leaves the system via a
release valve in the inlet combination and must
be drained. Several tap points can be supplied
with hot water if there is a WP connection. Any
type of WP mixer tap can also be connected.
