• Insert the COAX plug on the antenna cable (7)
into the appropriate antenna socket on your
receiver .
• Insert the mains plug into the mains socket .

Switching on/off

• Turn the On/Off switch (4) clockwise until you
hear a click .
The green status indicator LED (3) illuminates .
• Turn the On/Off/Amplifier control (4) further .
This boosts the signal from the antenna . Turn the
amplifier control (4) further clockwise until you
achieve the best possible reception .
• Point the antennas (1), (2) so as to achieve the
optimum reception .
• If you cannot obtain an optimum signal, find
another position for the antenna and try again .
note: Setting the amplification too high can
sometimes make reception worse . In this case the
signal overloads the receiver . Turn the amplifier
control (4) counter-clockwise to reduce the
amplification .
• To switch the device off, turn the On/Off switch
(4) counter-clockwise until you hear a click . The
green status indicator LED (3) goes out .

Maintenance and cleaning

The device requires no maintenance .
• Before you clean the device, pull the mains plug
out of the mains socket .
• For normal cleaning use a dry cloth; for more
stubborn dirt use a slightly moist cloth .
• Never use corrosive cleaning agents or other
chemicals for cleaning, as they may damage
the device .

Disposal

The packaging and ancillary packing consist wholly
of environmentally friendly materials . They can be
disposed of at your local recycling facility .
Do not dispose of electrical devi-
ces with the household rubbish!
In accordance with European Directive 2002/96/
EC (covering waste electrical and electronic equip-
ment) and its transposition into national legislation,
worn out electrical devices must be collected sepa-
rately and taken for environmentally compatible
recycling .
Contact your local council to find about
the current options for the disposal of
discarded electrical devices .

Warranty and service

We provide a warranty covering the defect-free
quality and function of our technical devices within
the terms of our warranty conditions . The period of
warranty is 36 months and begins on the day of
purchase . Please retain the sales voucher or receipt
as proof of purchase . Your warranty rights under
law are not limited by this warranty .
