2.2. Safe working

Safety instructions for the operating company and/or operating personnel:
• Any manner of working that impairs safety around the machine is prohibited.
• The operator must ensure that only authorised personnel work with or on the machine.
• The operator is obliged to check safety-relevant parts, such as guards, before commissioning and, in the event of any
defects, resolve these defects before commissioning.
• No safety devices must be removed or disabled (potentially serious injury can occur as a result of such practices).
• If a safety device needs to be removed for repair, the safety device must be refitted once the repair work has been
completed.
• Never reach behind the safety panels while working! Risk of injury!!
• Keep all safety and danger instructions on the machine in a fully legible condition at all times and replace them if
necessary.
• Maintenance and inspection work or repairs must only be carried out with the machine turned off and only by trained
personnel.
• Before starting work on the machine, it must be disconnected from the power supply. In the event of a fault, the
mains plug must be disconnected first. The fault must be eliminated only by authorised personnel.
• People with loose clothing or uncovered long hair must not approach the machine. - RISK OF INJURY!
• The length of the cattle's tail hairs must not exceed 5 cm!! Risk of injury!!
• Before commissioning and operating the machine, these operating instructions must be read and noted carefully.
• Operating the machine is only permitted with equipment and spare parts that are supplied or listed in the spare and
wear parts list.
• Universal and local regulations applicable to accident prevention and environmental protection must be complied
with. Any manner of working that impairs safety must be prohibited.
• The machine must only be used if its safety features are fully intact.
Failure to comply with the individually listed points in the operating instructions can result in physical injury or material
damage for which the manufacturer assumes no liability.

2.3. Correct use

• This device most only be used for the dry cleaning of female cattle in pens. These include cattle / cows with
close-fitting collars and trimmed tail hairs. (< 5cm).
• The regulations set out in these operating instructions must be complied with. Use of the device in any other area
shall be deemed incorrect use. The manufacturer accepts no liability for any resulting physical and/or material
damage.
• Only original spare parts and accessories guarantee the problem-free and safe functioning of the machine.
No liability is accepted for any damage resulting from the use of third-party components.
• No liability is accepted for any damage resulting from the use of third-party components
• For the purposes of the warranty, correct use is deemed to involve operation of the machine with a maximum
of 60 animals.
• The cow cleaning machine can be protected from cows in heat with a bounce frame.
