Inserting/Changing the Battery

Before the device is fi rst used, the battery which is also
supplied must be inserted.
The device must be switched off to do this (move On/Off
switch to position 0).
1. To open the battery compartment, pull the battery
compartment cover away from the device.
2. Insert the battery into the battery compartment. Pay
attention to the correct polarity (+/-).
3. Replace the battery compartment cover and slide it
shut. It must engage audibly.
Replace the battery when the power of the device starts
to wane. You need one 1.5 V battery (AA type).

Preparing for the Epilation

• Take a bath or shower to open your pores. Use a body
scrub to remove dead skin particles.
• Make sure that your skin is clean and dry and that
there are no cosmetic, cream or oil residues on it.
• Use the device only in a location with a pleasant am-
bient temperature to prevent the formation of sweat
on your skin.
• Clean the epilating head with rubbing alcohol before
removing hair on your face.
• For use on your upper lip, we recommend that you
keep your skin very taut. Even after the hair has been
removed by its root, it is important to keep your skin
taut to prevent pinching.
