Start-up
1. Connect the device to a properly installed socket that corresponds to the
device's technical data.
2. Select a temperature setting with the On/Off switch:
– I (low temperature setting). The bottom control light will light up.
– II (high temperature setting). Both control lights will light up.
3. Set the On/Off switch to the OFF position if you would like to turn the device
off. Always pull the mains plug out of the socket when you are not using the
device.
Use
• For best results, turn the device on min. 2 minutes before use and
wait until it has reached the operating heat.
• Only use the device on dry hair.
• Use the rotating brush for easier handling and, if applicable, better sty-
ling effects. To do so, hold the switch for releasing the brush lock (3)
down.
• Don't use styling products like hairspray, gel or mousse.
For sleekness and volume:
• Comb through your hair thoroughly to make sure there are no knots.
• Part the hair into individual thin strands.
• Lay the strands over the round brush and move the round brush from your
hairline up to the tips. Turn the round brush inward in the process.
For curls:
• Comb through your hair thoroughly to make sure there are no knots.
• Part it into individual thin strands.
• Wind the strand in spiral shape around the round brush and wait for a moment.
Use the round brush to slowly comb through your hair from the hair line to the tips.
The thickness and length of your hair will determine how long you will need
to keep the strand wrapped around the rotating brush.

Care and storage

ATTENTION!
• After use, turn the device off and pull the mains plug out of the socket. Keep
the device, mains cord and power plug away from water or other liquids.
• Do not wind the cable around the device!
• Caution! Burn hazard! Do not set the device down on fl ammable bases.
• Never rinse the device off with water and never immerse it in water or other liquids.
• Do not use any abrasive or scouring cleaners or cleaning pads to clean the
device. They could damage the surface.
