• Ensure that the connected mains cord does not pose a tripping
hazard. Do not set it down on the edge of tables or cabinets.
Someone could catch him/herself and pull down the device.
• Do not use the device when water or other liquids are near-
by in order to avoid the risk of electrical shock. Never use it
while taking a bath or shower!
• The round brush becomes hot during use. Be careful when
handling the round brush and only hold the device by the
handle. Keep the round brush away from your face, espe-
cially your eyes.
Fire hazard
• Keep fl ammable materials, e.g. cardboard, plastic or paper,
away from the device and never place the device, which is in
operation, on fl ammable objects or bases.
• Do not use the device if there are fl ammable gases in the air
(e.g. hairspray).
• Keep a suffi cient distance from heat sources, e.g. hobs or
ovens.
• Before connecting the device, unwind the power cord com-
pletely.
• Always allow the device to cool off completely before you
stow it.
Handling the device properly
• Only use the device in indoor areas.
• Only connect the device to a properly installed socket. The so-
cket must also be easily accessible after the device has been
connected. The mains voltage must correspond to the data on
the nameplate of the device. Only use proper extension cords,
whose technical data correspond to those of the device.
• Check the device for damages each time before you use
it. The device may not be used if it, the mains cord or plug
exhibit visible damages. Do not use the device if it malfunc-
tions, has fallen down or in water.
