HOW TO INSTALL EARTH GROUND SYSTEM

Improperly earthed energizers can cause barns and gates, for example, to become
hot (live). Follow earthing instruc ons carefully.

Earth stakes, at least 2m (6 ) long, should be spaced 3m (10 ) apart. Use a minimum
of 4 earth stakes for B1600 and 3 earth stakes for B700.
NOTE
Find a loca on for your earth system that is permanently damp, has
high fer lity or salinity and is away from dairy sheds. Install the earth
system at least 10m (33 ) from any power supply earth peg,
underground telephone or power cable. The best construc on
is 2m (6½ ) long galvanised stakes G8790 or Super Earth Kits
G8800, 3m (10 ) apart, connected to the energizer by high
quality Lead-out cable G6270. Do not use materials that rust.
(Use G6272 if the earth system is over 100m (300 ) from the
energizer).
