Safety Instructions

• Read the operating instructions carefully before
using your ultrasonic cleaner.
If the appliance is passed to another user, please pass on this
manual too.
• After use, store the ultrasonic cleaner in a safe place and out
of reach of children.
• Do not use the appliance near filled baths,
washbasins or other containers.
• Never immerse the cleaner in water or in any
other liquid.
• If the cleaner falls into water, unplug from mains imme-
diately. Do not reach into the water.
• Never continue to use a defective appliance.
• Repairs are to be carried out by a specialist trader or by our
Service Centre (see page 23) only.
• As additional protection the installation of a residual-current
protective device with a rated trip current of no more than
30 mA in the electrical circuit is recommended.
Ask advice from your electrician.
• Always make sure that your hands and the plug are completely
dry before plugging in or unplugging the device (danger of
electric shock!).
• Never reach into the cleaning liquid during operation: ultra-
sound is harmful to the skin and bones!

Before Use

Unpacking and assembling the Sinus Dentasonic:
Carefully take the device out of the box, remove the transport
packaging and check that no damage has been caused during
transport and that the delivery is complete:
1 x basket insert
If items are missing or if your new device is damaged, please
contact the Carrera Service Center (for address, see page 23).
Please keep the original packaging so that you can send the
device safely to our Service Center if it ever needs to be repaired.
Place the ultrasonic cleaner on a firm, even surface so that it
cannot tip or tilt. The surface should be easy to clean, well lit and
easily accessible. Do not place the device on surfaces which
could get hot, e.g. cooker hobs or next to a gas cooker.
Prior to first use, clean the detachable stainless tank with a damp
cloth.
Plug the device into a mains socket.
Warning: The mains voltage should be 230 V (see rating plate
on underside of device).
