Before using this appliance please read and understand these operating instructions completely. The operating instructions are a part of the product.
Keep them within easy reach. Please also hand over the operating instructions when passing the device over to a third party. Please make sure that the product is
in proper condition without any damages and no parts (according to the part list) are missing. If your product is damaged or uncomplete please contact your dealer
This product is suitable only for lighting aquariums in private households. The appliance should not be used for any purpose than is intended by the
manufacturer. The use of accessories not recommended by the manufacturer can lead to hazardous situations.
Never use this product when damaged, uncomplete or dropped into water. Correct installation of this product should be made by an electrician. The
product may be used by children over the age of 14 and by persons with a physical, sensory or mental impairment, as well as by inexperienced persons
if they are under supervision. They should have received an introduction to how to use the appliance for this purpose and be aware of the risks of use.
The appliance is not a toy. Children should not carry out maintenance unless they are over the age of 14 and are being supervised.
The minimum distance between the light unit and the water surface must be 30 cm (12") to avoid damage by water. Never run the unit without the
acrylic splash shields that protect the lampholder for the T-5 bulbs. Please follow as well the instructions of the LED unit you may have installed.
The light may get very hot during operation – be careful by touching the unit during operation. Never look directly into the light source for any length
of time! Please make sure that the unit is ventilated properly, never install the light inside a canopy or in unventilated areas.
Warning: As this appliance is in contact with water, particular care must be taken to avoid electric shock. Should one of the following situations arise,
do not repair the appliance yourself. The appliance must be repaired by an authorized specialist or disposed of:
a) If the light unit falls into the water, do not try to retrieve it! First remove all power plugs and then retrieve the appliance.
b) The aquarium and the appliance should be positioned next to a wall socket in such a way that no water can splash onto the socket or the plug. The power cable
of the appliance should form a "drip loop" to prevent water running along the cable into the power socket. c) Never touch the plug if the socket or plug is wet!
First switch off the circuit to which the appliance is connected (safety switch) and then disconnect the plug.
Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply when not in use, before installing or removing parts or before cleaning. Never disconnect the
plug by pulling on the cable. Always hold the plug when disconnecting. Please follow as well the instructions of your individual LED device.

STELLAR. Furthermore we offer the end user, after a successful product registration for the device within the statutory warrantee period, under

the product was not correctly installed, maintained or cleaned, intentionally damaged or modified in any way not according to the intended purpose by the
customer or third parties.
