Do not immerse the receiver or the sender into liquids.
Make sure not to insert the measuring probe into fatty
parts or bones. Insert the measuring probe into differ-
ent places in order to check if the meat is done equally.
If the meat is thinner than 2 cm, it will be done very
quickly. It is very difficult to measure the doneness of
thin meat portions.
Switching ON and OFF after Operation
To switch off the thermometer, hold the button TASTE
(11) pressed for some seconds. To switch on again, press
the button TASTE again.
Backlight
Press any button to activate the backlight for 30 seconds.
Cleaning and Storing
Wipe the housing of the receiver and the sender with a
lightly moistened cloth. Clean the measuring probe
immediately after each use with a clean cloth.
While cleaning the display do not press on the LC
display. Display discolouring will disappear in a while.
Do not use aggressive chemicals or abrasives for
cleaning in order not to damage the surfaces.
Store the articles out of reach of children.
