Please note the following safety notes to avoid
malfunctions, damage or physical injury:
Dispose of the packaging materials carefully; the plastic bags
may become a deadly toy for children.
Do not expose the unit to strong mechanical stress and direct
sunlight.
If there are variations in the environmental temperature (e.g.
when travelling from the vehicle to domicile) allow the unit to
acclimate for some time before operating, so remaining conden-
sation inside the unit will not cause damages.
Make sure the voltage corresponds to the type label on the unit.
Before connecting a consumer, make sure the max. consumer
load does not exceed 16 A.
Do not cascade the socket.
Do not cover the unit and do not insert USB sticks into the USB
port.
Do not disassemble the unit or attempt to repair it yourself. It
does not contain parts serviceable by you. In the case of ques-
tions or problems, turn to our customer support.
Operation
1. Connect the charger with USB port to a 230 V AC wall socket. If
voltage is connected the red LED will light up.
2. Use the USB ports to operate different consumers, such as MP3
player, mobile phone, GPS. Connect the consumer with the USB
port. Make sure the max. output current does not exceed 500
mA for each consumer.
3. Use the 230 V socket for operating different consumer with a
max. load of 16 A.
