Animal Water Blaster/Pest Patrol SD-31002

The heron poses a constant threat
to all fishes in the garden pond. It
belongs to the protected bird
species – therefore it is not
allowed to hurt a heron.
The solution: the animal water
blaster. It is one of the most known
devices to scare off herons.
It does not matter whether you
want to chase away cats or dogs
or other pond scavengers, the
animal water blaster cracks the
problem reliably.
The animals are registered by a
motion detector and a water jet is splashed on the gatecrasher. The trespassers
are frightened in such a way, that they take flight.
The pest patrol is an environment-friendly answer to this fazing problem. The
charges, arising by reason of the device, are minimally and it is ready to use
around the clock.
Operation
1. Insert 4 batteries type Mignon AA (not included) into
the battery compartment on the bottom side of the
motion detector, observing right polarity.
2. Put the included sealing and the lid on the battery
compartment and fix it by using the supplied
screws.
3. Screw together ground spike (1) and extension tube
(2).

4. Screw the extension tube (2) on the orange
tube attachment point (C) of the motion
detector (3), in that way, the green banner
shows backwards.
5. Screw the reach adjustment (4) on the black
tube attachment point (D) of the motion
detector (3).
6. Connect a water supply, which is perma-
nently under pressure, to the water hose
attachment point (A) of the ground spike (1),
e.g. a garden hose.
If you want to attach together several devices,
please use the water connection point (B),
closed by a dummy plug.
7. To adjust the operating distance of the motion
regulator, utilize the rotary knob (E) on the
back side of the motion regulator.
8. Please regulate the range of water jet with the
hand wheel (F) of the reach adjustment. The
water jet rotates within an angle of 100°. It
has an operating distance of ca. 10 m and
controls an area of ca. 30 m².
Always,
the
water
jet
is
automatically by the device after 5 s.
According to factory-made functional tests, residual humidity can remain in the
unit. Residual humidity in a new article is not a fault.
Close proximity to strong transmitters may cause malfunctions of the motion
detector. Strong transmitters can be e.g. amateur radio operators in your
neighbourhood or transmitting masts for mobile telephone systems or broadcast-
ing stations. In this case, it happens sometimes, that the motion detector switches
on casually, without finding a heron near by the animal water blaster.
