2 Preparation
2.1 Power supply
• Ensure that the switch 4 is set to position "0".
• Connect the mains plug to a power socket.
2.2 The round brushes
Use the round brushes for drying and simultaneously styling your hair. You re-
ceive:
• 1 round brush with mixed-length bristles 12 (dia. 12 mm without retractable
bristles, for small curls)
• 1 round brush with metal barrel 2 (dia. 20 mm with retractable bristles, for
small curls)
• 1 round brush with metal barrel 13 (dia. 30 mm with retractable bristles, for
middle-sized curls)
• 1 round brush with metal barrel 14 (dia. 38 mm without retractable bristles, for
large curls)
Attaching a round brush

The round brushes are fastened by means of a bayonet catch on the Wella CURL
Styler.
1. Image A: attach the round brush to the Wella CURL Styler in such a way that
the dot on the catch is located opposite to the arrow on the Wella CURL Styler.
2. Image B: turn the round brush such that both arrows are located opposite to
each other. The round brush engages audibly.
Removing a round brush
DANGER: after a long period of use the metal sleeve of the round brush can be
hot. First let the appliance cool down.
• Image C: push and hold the release key 11 and turn the round brush such that
the dot on the catch is located opposite to the arrow on the Wella CURL Styler.
The brush is now disengaged and can be removed.
