Never operate this appli-
ance...
- in rooms where the appliance is
at risk of fire or explosion as a re-
sult of chemicals, dust, gases or
vapours.
- in the direct proximity of elec-
trical cables or receptacles that
carry or contain flammable or
explosive materials.
- if work such as laying tiles, san-
ding or sealing is being carried
out in the installation room.
- if naphtha sprays, floor polish or
similar products are used. Venti-
late the room sufficiently before
heating.
- if the minimum clearances to
adjacent surfaces are not main-
tained.

the appliance or in direct proxi-

Material losses

cable with a carpet or rug.
- Make sure that the power cable is
not in anyone's way, and that no
one can trip over it and tip over the
appliance.
- Avoid using an extension cable.
If required, use only undamaged,
tested extension cables suitable
for the power consumption of the
appliance.
- Position the appliance on a solid
base. On a soft base, the applian-
ce can tip over or the air apertures
can become blocked.
- Never move or carry the appliance
by pulling on the power cable.
- Do not wind the power cable
around the appliance when it is in
operation.
- Do not pull the power cable across
sharp edges.

Never operate the applian-
ce remotely or have it swit-
ched on automatically via upstre-
am components (e.g. time switch,
room temperature controller).

3. Appliance descrip-
tion
The appliance is an electric direct
heater and is suitable as e.g. a full
heating system in bathrooms, or for
use between seasons and as a boos-
ter heater in smaller rooms.
For heating, the indoor air is drawn
in by the appliance fan via apertu-
res in the back panel, heated by the
heating element, and blown out for-
wards via the air outlet grille.
3.1 Anti-tipping protection
To prevent the possibility of fire, the
appliance features automatic an-
ti-tipping protection.
If the appliance tips forwards or
backwards, it switches off automati-
cally. When the appliance is returned
to a normal, upright position, it auto-
matically switches back on.

You can use the operating selector
to switch the appliance on and off,
and to select the desired operating
mode.

4.1 Temperature selector
The temperature selector serves to
set the required room temperature.
When the room temperature falls
below the set value, the appliance
begins to heat.
To get the room temperature
which is right for you ...
f Set the operating selector to
f
heating stage 2.
f Turn the temperature selector
f
fully clockwise (maximum
value).
The appliance starts heating.
f When the room temperature re-
f
aches a level that feels pleasant
to you, turn the temperature
selector back until the appliance
switches off with an audible
click.
The appliance will keep the room
temperature constant at the set
value by repeated short periods of
heating.
4.2 Frost protection
The appliance is equipped with a
frost protection function, which swit-
ches the appliance on automatically
if the room temperature falls below
approx. 7 °C.
To activate the frost protection
function ...

5. Cleaning, care and
maintenance
The appliance contains no user ser-
viceable parts.
f Clean the appliance when cold

with ordinary cleaning products.
Avoid abrasive or corrosive clea-
ning products.
f If a pale brownish discolouration
f
appears on the appliance casing,
wipe it off with a damp cloth.
f Clean the air inlet and outlet
f
grilles twice a year with a vacu-
um cleaner.

into the air slot.
6. Storage
f If you will not be using the appli-

ance for a long period, switch it
off and unplug it.
f When not in use, keep the appli-

ance in a dry place.

Troubleshooting
If the appliance does not heat, check
the temperature set at the appliance
and the MCB/fuse in your fuse box.
The appliance is equipped with a saf-
ety temperature controller that shuts
the appliance down if it overheats.
After the cause has been remo-
ved (for example air outlet or inlet
apertures covered) and the appliance
has cooled down for a few minutes,
operation starts again.
If you cannot remedy the fault, notify
your qualified contractor. To facilitate
and speed up your request, provide
the number from the type plate
(000000-0000-000000).

ning, maintenance and repair of the
appliance.
