Avoid inhaling chemical fumes. NEVER MIX CHEMICALS IN CONCENTRATED FORM.
ALWAYS use safety glasses and acid proof safety gloves when handling chemicals for your pool and spa. Before use always read carefully the
user instructions and the danger label of chemical product.
NEVER MIX UNSTABILIZED POOL CHLORINE (CALCIUM HYPOCHLORITE WITHOUT CYANURIC ACID) WITH ANY OTHER TYPE OF CHLORINE – OR
WITH ANY OTHER CHEMICALS AT ALL. IT CAN LEAD TO FIRE AND EXPLOSION!

MAKE SURE THAT THE SCOOP IS COMPLETELY CLEAN AND DRY BEFORE USE
•
Pls note that the handle with built-in electronic weight is NOT water proof or water resistant and it should never be submerged in water or in
any other liquid. Always wash the scoop with clean water after it has been detached from the handle.The dosage weight is intended for use
with dry chemicals only. Never use it with liquids. Every time the scoop has been used you must make sure that the scoop is clean and dry
before next use. NEVER mix chemicals in concentrated form!The capacity of the dosage weight is 500 grams +/- 30 grams. If this weight is
exceeded there will be a temporary failure message in the display. If the weight is exceeded more than 100% then the dosage weight may be
damaged.
Assembly
Place the included battery in the handle (the +pole must face up). Slide the lid back in place until it clicks.

The metal tab of the handle in placed in the end of the scoop. NOTE – at small piece of the metal tab will remain outside of the
•
scoop. Do NOT try to push the tab further. Do NOT bend the tab in any way – this would damage the weight and void the warranty.
Calibration
Hold the dosage weight horizontally, push the ON/OFF button. Let the weight calibrate for 3 seconds. Do not touch the scoop during
•
calibration. When the LCD display shows "0" the weight is ready for use. Repeat this whenever the weight is used.
Press the "MODE" button to choose between measurements in grams "g" or in ounzes "oz".

USE
Carefully scoop the desired amount of dry chemicals in the form of powder or granules – no liquids. To get a more accurate
•
measurement shake the pool weight a little bit to even out the chemical in the scoop of the weight.
Keep the handle horizontally to see the actual weight in the LCD display.
•
Push the "HOLD" button to lock the highest weight measurement. If you push the "HOLD" button once more the weighing is
•
released. In this case the shown weight will change slightly according to you own movements – this is normal.
Add- or remove –the needed amount of dry chemical to get the desired weight. The pool weight will keep on weighing while you
•
adjust the amount.
Push the "ON/OFF" button for 5 seconds to manually turn off the pool weight. It will turn off automatically after 5 minutes of
•
inactivity.

Cleaning and maintenance
Detach the scoop from the handle and clean it with pure water. Avoid getting the handle wet as it may damage the electronic
components inside. Store the scoop and the handle in a cool, clean, and dry place. 1 pcs of CR2032 battery is needed (included)
