Starting up

If the pilot flame fails to ignite rotate the regulator button to "OFF". Then wait 5 minutes before trying again. Make certain
that the regulator button is set to "OFF" before attempting to ignite the radiant gas heater again.
Ÿ After connecting a new gas bottle allow the air in the gas supply line to escape via the pilot flame aperture
for at least one minute.
Ÿ When igniting the pilot flame make certain to hold down the variable regulator button the entire time while pressing the
igniter. Release the variable regulator button once the pilot flame ignites.
Ÿ You can control the pilot flame from the small round window with sliding cover (Figs. 1 and 2) on the lower part of the
flame shield. You can also ignite the pilot flame with a match. Slide the sliding cover to the side to ignite the pilot flame with
a match through the aperture.

Shutting off

To turn off the radiant gas heater proceed as follows:
 Press the variable regulator button and rotate it to the "OFF" position.
‚ Shut the valve on the gas supply bottle completely.
ATTENTION:
Ÿ Do not touch or move the radiant gas heater for at least 45 minutes
after turning off. DANGER OF BURN INJURIES!
Ÿ Allow all burner elements to cool down before touching.
