and directions in these operating instructions can result in serious bodily injuries, death or material damage. If you are
not able to read the operating instructions or do not understand these completely, please contact your specialist
supplier. The manufacturer or supplier is not liable for the consequences of negligent behaviour by the user.

Intended use

The radiant gas heater is intended for use in the private home and serves solely for heating in an outdoor environment. Use
other than as intended can lead to substantial dangers. Additional loading of this product by attaching further devices or
operation beyond the mechanical limits can cause damage to the product and endanger persons and is therefore not
permitted. The manufacturer is not liable for the resulting consequences.
Liability
The manufacturer cannot meet the warranty conditions for damage to the product in the case of failure to observe the notes
and information in these operating instructions or use other than as intended. Liability for the consequences in respect of all
elements or persons is excluded.

General notes

Read the instructions thoroughly before assembly and start-up.

Assemble the gas heater and store the gas bottle in accordance with the relevant regulations.
Ÿ
Only a suitably qualified person may assemble this device.
Ÿ
Operate only in well-ventilated areas. For an adequately ventilated area at least 25% of the

enclosing area must be open. The enclosing area is the sum of the wall areas.
Ÿ The use of the radiant gas heater in closed spaces can be dangerous and is prohibited.
Ÿ Do not use this radiant gas heater for heating residential buildings.
Ÿ This radiant gas heater may be used only for space heating.
Ÿ Do not use this radiant gas heater in cellars or underground.
Ÿ The radiant gas heater has no atmospheric sensor. It may be used only for heating well-ventilated buildings for livestock
breeding or in an outdoor environment.
Ÿ Use only the gas and gas bottle types specified by the manufacturer.
Ÿ Do not place objects on or affix objects to the radiant gas heater.
Ÿ Do not store any chemicals, flammable materials or spray aerosols in the vicinity of the radiant gas heater.
Ÿ Never operate the radiant gas heater in a potentially explosive atmosphere, such as in areas where petrol or other flammable
liquids or vapours are stored.
Ÿ Protect the hot glass tube against rain, splashing water or other sources which can cause a sudden change in temperature
and therefore possibly result in the cracking or bursting of the tube.
