Conservation and use of electrodes and cables
If the cables or electrodes are deteriorated, they
should be replaced and no longer used.
Clean the skin carefully before applying the elec-
trodes.
After using the single-patient multi-use and/or
mono-use electrodes, keep them with their own
plastic film in a clean, closed plastic bag.
Prevent the electrodes from touching or over-
lapping.
Once the package has been opened, the elec-
trodes can be used for 25-30 applications.
The electrodes should, however, always be
replaced if they are not perfectly adherent to
the skin.
If using non-self-adhesive electrodes, clean their
surface with water.
Make sure the cables and electrodes are clean
before every application.
In case of deterioration of the cables, these
should be replaced with original spare parts and
no longer used.
Use only electrodes supplied by the device
manufacturer.
Warnings
- The device must be used exclusively by men-
tally competent adults.
- The electrostimulator must not be used for pur-
poses other than transcutaneous neurostimula-
tion.
- Neurostimulation devices must be used follo-
wing the instructions and under the supervision
of a doctor or qualified physiotherapist.
- The electrostimulator must be used with suitable
transcutaneous neurostimulation electrodes.
- The electrostimulator must be kept out of chil-
dren's reach.
- The electrostimulator's current can cause inter-
ference with ECG monitoring devices.
- Do not apply current in trans-thoracic mode to
prevent arrhythmia and interference with heart
frequencies. (Do not perform the treatment on
pectoral and dorsal muscles simultaneously).
- Do not use the device near short-wave therapy
devices.
- In case of health problems, seek medical advi-
ce before using the device.
Intended use
Carefully read the user manual to avoid incor-
rect installation, use and maintenance opera-
tions which may damage the device, the ope-
rator or the user.
Electrostimulators are designed to be used in the
following environments:
- home;
- clinical;
- physiotherapy;
- rehabilitation;
- pain treatment;
- any type of sequential electrostimulation;
- cosmetic and sports purposes.
The use of this device is permitted to patients
(provided that they are adequately informed of
the techniques used by the device), medical
and paramedical personnel.
Disposal of the device
Do not throw the device or parts of it into the fire,
but dispose of the product in specialised centres
and in compliance with current national regula-
tions.
