RF M-Bus Converter II besitzt 2 Funkkanäle, die mit
Kanal 1 und Kanal 2 bezeichnet sind. Kanal 1 wird zur
Kommunikation mit anderen Hochleistungsprodukten,
z.B. Funkroutermodulen für E- und Wärmezähler, sowie RF
Concentratoren, verwendet.
Kanal 2 wird zur Kommunikation mit früher gelieferten
Funk- und Netzwerkprodukten genutzt.
Die Daten werden über das integrierte Funkteil oder über
ein externes GSM Modem 3 oder 5 zum Werk übertragen.
Es können entweder aktuelle Daten ausgelesen werden
oder Protokolldaten, die bis zu einer Stunde alt sind.
Das komplette M-Bus Telegramm des ausgelesenen
Energiezählers wird zur Systemsoftware übertragen. Dort
erfolgt die Decodierung der Daten.

RF M-Bus Converter II is self-configuring and selects the
highest possible communication speed (baud rate) to the
connected energy meter's M-Bus module among other
things. This information is saved in the internal memory to
be used in future.
The unit is supplied with internal antenna as well as
connection for external antenna, should increased radio
range be necessary.
RF M-Bus Converter II is designed to form part of a radio
network, both as radio module/logger unit and network
unit using the built-in router functionality.
This function handles the radio communication of up to 70
other radio units (radio modules/RadioRouter modules/RF
Router/RF Concentrator).
