2. Remove the protective rubber cover with the battery compartment (5) including the LED tube (6) from the
battery compartment pouch (1) before cleaning the dog collar.
3. Observe the information on the care label when cleaning the device.
4. Use a slightly damp cloth for cleaning and, if necessary, a mild cleaning agent.
5. Make sure that no water penetrates into the battery compartment (5). Never immerse the device in water
or other liquids while cleaning or operating it. Never hold the device under running water.
6. Dry all parts thoroughly before using the device again or storing it.
7. Store the device and all its accessories in a location that is protected from dust, moisture and direct
sunlight and also remove the batteries. Store the device out of the reach of children.

Disposal of electrical devices
This device is subject to European Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic
equipment (WEEE) which states that used household electrical equipment is not to be disposed of
as unsorted municipal waste.
This type of used equipment must be sorted
and collected separately from other household waste in order to increase the proportion of recovered
equipment and their constituent materials for recycling. The aim here is to reduce any negative effects on
human health and the environment. The symbol showing a crossed out wheelie bin is displayed on all

the local waste collection authorities (e.g. authorised waste collection companies or municipal waste
disposal facilities) or the distributor of their device to find out how this device should be properly discarded.
