ELECTRIC SHOCK!
18. The LED lamps cannot be replaced.
19. Do not make any modifications to the device.
20. Do not use any optical instruments e.g. a magnifying glass to look directly into the beam of light. There
is a risk of eye damage. RISK OF INJURY!
21. Never look directly into the illuminated LED during operation! This can cause eye damage! RISK OF
INJURY!
22. If you suspect that you have suffered eye damage, immediately consult an ophthalmologist.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON HANDLING BATTERIES
Please note the following instructions when handling batteries:

Never throw batteries into a fire. Do not attempt to charge non-rechargeable batteries. DANGER OF
EXPLOSION AND INJURY!

Replace the batteries only with the same or equivalent type.

Always change all batteries at the same time and do not use any combination of used and new
batteries or batteries with unequal charges.

Never open the batteries. Never solder or weld batteries. DANGER OF EXPLOSION AND INJURY!

Do not short-circuit the connections. Danger of EXPLOSION AND INJURY!

Ensure that the batteries are inserted correctly. Observe the (+) plus and (-) minus polarities on the
battery and the battery compartment. Improperly inserted batteries could leak or in extreme cases
cause a fire or explosion.

Never expose the batteries to excessive heat (e.g. strong sunlight or fire). The batteries could explode.

Check the batteries regularly. Leaking batteries can cause damage to the device.

DANGER OF INJURY! If a battery has leaked, remove it from the battery compartment with the help of
a cloth and dispose of it properly. Avoid battery acid coming into contact with your skin and eyes. If
battery acid comes into contact with your eyes, rinse out your eyes with lots of water and immediately
contact a doctor. If battery acid comes into contact with your skin, rinse the affected area immediately
using lots of soap and water.

Keep batteries out of the reach of children. There is a risk that children could put batteries in their
mouth and swallow them. If a battery has been swallowed, please obtain immediate medical
assistance.

Remove used batteries. Also remove the batteries if you know that the device is not going to be used
for a long period of time. Otherwise, the batteries may leak and cause damage.

Remove the batteries before disposing of the device.

BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
Remove all of the packaging materials and check the
device and accessories for damage. Remove the battery insulation strip so that the device is ready for
operation.
