TMC (Traffic Message Channel)
MyGuide can enhance your routing if the program can receive TMC data (Traffic Message
Channel). TMC is a special service broadcasted by FM radio stations containing traffic (RDS)
information in real time.
Note:
TMC is not a world-wide service. It is possible that it is not available in your country.
Please consult your dealer for information concerning the availability of this service.
To be able to receive TMC data, your PNA must be connected to the TMC receiver.
MyGuide considers the received TMC information automatically. No settings need to be made
in the program. The receiver will retrieve TMC data automatically from the FM stations and use
it for real-time route planning and updating. As soon as MyGuide has received traffic informa-
tion applicable to your route, the program will issue a warning message and recalculate the
route. Navigation will continue along the updated route adapted to the latest traffic situation.
You can access the TMC function from the GPS data display by tapping the TMC button.
