Care and Maintenance
Apart from occasional cleaning, the product is maintenance-free, never disassemble it. It is not
necessary nor even possible to change the illuminants, due to the long life of the light emitting
diodes.
The outside of the housing should only be cleaned with a clean, soft, dry cloth.
Never use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions, these affect the surface of the
housing (e.g. discolouring).
Fuse replacement at the car adaptor
At the tip of the car adaptor there is a fuse integrated. By unscrewing the holding ring the centre
contact can be removed and the fuse can be extracted. Replace the fuse with an identical fuse
(6.3 x 32mm, 250V, 2A, fast-acting).
Fixing or bridging defective fuses is inadmissible! This can result in a fire or explo-
sion!
Disposal
Electrical and electronic products do not belong to the household waste!
Dispose of the unserviceable product according to the relevant statutory regula-
tions.
Disposal of used batteries/storage batteries
You, as end user are under legal obligation (Battery Regulation) to take back all used batteries
and rechargeable batteries, to dispose of them via domestic waste is not permitted!
Batteries/rechagable batteries containing harmful substances are marked with the
following symbols, which point out that disposal in the domestic waste is prohibited.
The symbols for the relevant heavy metals are: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury,
Pb = lead.
You can return used (rechargeable) batteries free of charge at the official collection
points in your community, our stores, or where ever (rechargeable) batteries are
sold!
You thus fulfil your legal obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment!
The integrated rechargeable batteries are to be disposed seperately from the prod-
uct. Since this would require a dismantling of the torch please leave it to authorised
personnel.
