Universal remote control
To control almost all TV sets, satellite receivers, DTT set top
boxes, DVD players and recorders, CD players and other
infrared-controllable devices.
1 Important – please read
The Vivanco PRO UR ...is pre-programmed to control up to
3 devices, replacing damaged or lost original remote
controls. It controls the basic functions of the devices for
which it has been set and is not designed to replace all the
functions of the original remote controls. In order to be able
to control your devices, you must set the remote control as
described in the section "Code entry".
Open the battery compartment on the underside of the PRO
UR . To do so, lightly press the locking mechanism (left side
of battery drawer) of the battery compartment upwards, then
ireplace the CR 2032 lithium cell. Make sure that the polarity
is correct. To check functionality, press the PWR button. If
everything is correct the red lamp flickers when the button is
pressed.
The correct control codes can be set via direct code entry or
automatic code search.
Direct code entry
Using the enclosed code list, note the possible codes for the
device and the brand.
To set your TV set, proceed as follows:
1. Using the enclosed code list, find the codes to
control your brand of television (TV). It is
possible that there are several suitable codes
and you should find out the most suitable.
2. Switch on a program on your TV.
